Replaces the Gusenberg Sweeper.
Description:
The original M1928 was similar to the M1921AC, but the weight of the mechanism was increased resulting in a more moderate rate of fire as required by the US Navy. The M1928A1 is a M1928 that better suited the wishes of the US armed forces and was easier to mass produce. It features a straight forearm and later on 30 round straight box magazines were introduced as the 50-round drums proved too bulky and noisy for military service.

Please note:
The stick mag reload isn't very good due to the animation being designed for drum mags so it looks a little wonky but the drum mag is fine. Also, the sights line up perfectly and the grip has some clipping.
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
How to Fix Texture Loss:
If you are experiencing any texture loss, make a copy of the low texture and rename it to +hi. The low textures should be 1024x1024 or 1024x512. Anything lower does not matter. If the textures aren't, you need to downscale them to that resolution. If you are still experiencing issues, try changing the pixel format to DXT5 or DXT1.

"This is a question that comes up all the time by collectors. What is the difference between the Model of 1928 and the US Model of 1928A1 Thompson Submachine Gun. In a word - nothing. The Model of 1928 was the model designation used by Auto-Ordnance Corporation (AOC) in 1928 that introduced to the world a new Thompson gun with a reduced rate of fire. It could be purchased in the very popular "U.S. NAVY" version that included a compensator, horizontal fore grip and sling swivels. When AOC contracted with Savage Arms to manufacture the Thompson gun in late 1939, the Model of 1928 was the weapon specified by AOC to be built. These early Savage Thompsons were actually the first production Model of 1928 Thompsons. All the Colt manufactured Model of 1928 Thompsons were conversions from the originally manufactured Model of 1921 Thompsons. This is why you see the number "8" stamped over the number "1" on the receiver of Colt guns. It sometimes looks like "Model of 192B" and is often referred to by collectors as an "overstamp."
